banishly is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
1 Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and clear heading structure so the site works with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Text and interactive elements chosen for readable contrast against their backgrounds.
- Descriptive labels on form fields and alternative text on meaningful images.
- A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
2 Motion and animation
The homepage has a muted, looping background video, a rotating marketplace name in the headline, two scrolling rows (key figures and marketplaces), and an auto-advancing "How it works" panel. The pause button at the bottom of the hero stops all of them. The scrolling rows also pause while you hover over them or move keyboard focus into them, and the "How it works" panel holds while your pointer or keyboard focus is inside it; selecting a step opens it and stops the auto-advance. If your device's "reduce motion" setting is on, the video stays on a still frame, the rotating word and auto-advance are turned off, the marketplaces row is shown as a static grid, and the key figures become a row you can scroll yourself.
